Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain is scheduled to partially open today Tuesday (June 13, 2017) the Peal (Lualua) Roundabout for traffic, 6 years after closing it and dispersing pro-democracy protests.
The Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning said that it will open the new traffic signals that would link Avenue 28 (coming from Sanabis) to King Faisal Highway
The Bahraini forces had demolished the Pearl (Lualua) Roundabout (March 2011) after dispersing protesters from the area with the help of Saudi forces. The areas was then transformed into a crossroad intersection called "Al Farooq Junction".
