Bahrain Mirror: In a striking statement, two days after a less provoking statement, Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa raised the roof of his rhetoric against Doha, saying that the withdrawal of ambassadors was directed against the conduct of the Qatari leadership.
Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa had made a statement on June 6, in which he said that what happened "is not directed at the Qatari Emir or its people, it is rather a firm stance against the support of terrorist groups."
His statement was quickly replaced by new ones published by local newspapers, in which he said that the adopted stance "is a firm stance against the Qatari leadership's support of terrorist groups." The Bahraini Crown Prince also said that "it is not addressed at the brotherly Qatari people, but it is concerned with the Qatari leadership policies in the support of extremist groups."
