Bahrain Mirror: Turkish President Recep Tayyeb Erdogan held a phone call with Bahrain King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, two days after Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and UAE cut their ties with Qatar.
Turkey is believed to be one of the region's prominent countries to support Qatar policies, especially when it comes to supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab region. The Justice and Development party, currently in office in Turkey, is also affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Bahrain News Agency reported that the phone call between both parties was for greeting on the holy month of Ramadan, and for discussing the track of good bilateral ties.
