Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain News Agency said that the Ministry of Information Affairs suspended Al-Wasat newspaper from issuance until further notice.
The ministry said that Al-Wasat violated the law and re-disseminated what would stir divisionism within the community and undermine the Kingdom of Bahrain's relations with other countries.
The newspaper published in its edition of June 4 an article on page 19 that included a defamation of one of the sisterly Arab countries.
Al-Wasat is a Bahraini daily independent newspaper, established on September 7, 2002. Its first trial edition was issued on September 4, 2002. Mansoor Al-Jamri is the paper's editor-in-chief and Adel Al-Maskati is the chairman of the Board.
