Wa’ad Headquarters Closed after Court Ruled its Dissolution

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities closed on Wednesday (May 31, 2017) headquarters of the National Democratic Action Society, Wa'ad, hours after court ruled its dissolution and liquidation of its assets.
Wa'ad was supposed to receive its guests at its headquarters in Umm Al-Hassam in the usual weekly assembly. However, the members were surprized to see large number of forces surrounding the headquarters in coincidence with closing the society's office in Muharraq.
The Ministry of Interior said that police performed its legal duty to prevent unauthorized gathering and calls to incite people that could disturb security and civil peace.
