Bahrain Mirror: The Haq Movement for Liberty and Democracy expressed strong condemnation of the sham of issuing an unjust political decision against His Eminence Sheikh Isa Ahmad Qassim.
After the Bahraini courts issued the verdict against Ayatollah Qassim, Haq Movement issued a statement denouncing the government's escalatory step.
"The Haq Movement for Liberty and Democracy expresses strong condemnation of the sham of issuing an unjust political decision against His Eminence Sheikh Isa Ahmad Qassim. The movement believed that the continuous targeting of Sheikh Qassim and the national and religious symbolism considered the biggest in Bahrain, is a result of the regime's involvement in regional agendas that would cost it a lot in the coming days," the movement's statement said.
Moreover, the movement confirmed "the necessity of not losing mass in dealing with continued targeting of Ayatollah Qassim". It also stressed the importance of public presence in the squares and arenas, especially as the regime already revoked Sheikh Qassim's citizenship in violation and in desperate attempts to distort the pure image of Sheikh Qassim."
The Haq Movement said in its statement that the verdict issued today is an unjust and political decision issued by an unrecognized court, and is a sham before the international community, which remains silent in the face of the regime's crimes.
