Bahrain Mirror: The High Criminal Court presided over by judge Mohammad bin Ali Al Khalifa and Naji Abdullah as a secretariat rejected the objection of a suspect sentenced to 15 years in prison over the charge of burning an ATM in Salmabad, for not appearing before the court.

The First-Instance court had handed down 15-year jail term to 3 suspects accused of burning ATM owned by one of Salmabad banks and sentenced the fourth suspect to 7 years in prison because he was under 18. The court bound all the suspects to pay 20.205 BD for the damages caused to the ATM.

The Public Prosecution claimed that on October 17, 2014, the suspects, along with other unknowns, deliberately set fire to an ATM, endangering people's lives and properties and acquired Molotov cocktails, aiming at using them to put people's lives and properties at risk.
