Royal Decree Appoints New NIHR Commissioners, Former Chair Removed

Bahrain Mirror: The King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, issued a royal decree appointing a new council of commissioners of the National Institute for Human Rights (NIHR).
According to the Royal Decree, former Chair, Abdulaziz Abul, was removed from his position, while Saeed al-Faihani, who was expected to be Abul's successor, was appointed.
Royal decree number (23) of 2017 stipulated the appointment of commissioners in the NIHR as follows:
First: Full-time members:
1- Saeed Mohammed Al - Faihani.
2- Abdullah Ahmed Al-Dirazi
3- Dr. Aisha Salem Saif Mubarak.
4- Maria Anton Khoury.
Second: Part-time members:
1- Dr. Bader Mohammed Adel.
2- Dina Abdulrahman Al-Lazi.
3- Dr. Hamid Ahmed Abdullah Hussein.
4- Dr. Rawda Salman Mohsen Al-Aradi.
5- Widad Sayed Radhi Al-Moussawi
Third: Members of the Legislative Authority:
1- Ahmed Mahdi Al-Haddad.
2- Khaled Abdul Aziz Al-Shaer.
The membership will last for 4 renewable years.
