Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court adjourned on Monday (April 17, 2017) the case of the National Democratic Action Society "Wa'ad" until April 30, noting that the next hearing will be the final hearing in the case.

The state apparatus demanded to issue a ruling in the case, however, Wa'ad lawyer submitted a notice and demanded to add a case raised by the ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs in 2014 regarding stopping the society's activism. Before the judgment, the lawyers demanded to consider the unconstitutionality of article 23 of the Political Associations Law and give them more time to provide additional documentations.

Wa'ad is the third political society the ministry demands its dissolution. The ministry had already dissolved Amal society in 2013 and Al-Wefaq in 2016, in the most severe campaign launched since the eruption of vast protests in February 2011 that demanded putting an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power.
