Bahrain Mirror: Thousands of Bahrainis took part on Saturday (March 25, 2017) in the funeral procession of martyr Mostafa Hamdan (18 years) in Karbabad, west of Manama. Hamdan sustained a gunshot in his head after regime forces attacked Diraz protest in January.
The martyr's funeral marched from Karbabad (Hamdan's hometown) to Hilat Abd Al-Saleh, his final resting place.
Protesters held photos for martyr Hamdan, and shouted slogans against King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, deeming him responsible for the deterioration of security situation in the country.
Clashes broke out between the angry mourners and regime forces that surrounded the area. Meanwhile, forces fired tear gas canisters against the protestors.
Since January the government has remained silent on the incident. Meanwhile, the public prosecution said that it is investigating Hamdan's injury.
