Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society mourned the martyrdom of Mostafa Hamdan, who passed away on Friday (March 24, 2017) due to a live bullet injury sustained in his head, by regime-affiliated civilian forces.
Al-Wefaq Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Hussein al-Daihi, confirmed that Bahrain today is proud of Mostafa Hamdan's martyrdom, who exhibited the highest image of sacrifice in the sake of religion, values, country, dignity, and patriotism for Bahrain.
Al-Wefaq Deputy SG said that Mostafa Hamdan's martyrdom clearly expresses the reality of systematic crime, weapons' chaos, absence of law, and lack of trust in all apparatuses, whether security or government institutions that seek to enhance the image of the regime. He added that these institutions are partners in this crime, as they knew of the bloody attack by masked official forces in a completely sieged area.
Moreover, al-Wefaq stressed that what happened is by all means a terrorist act, and if the world is talking about terrorism, then this crime meets that category in terms of goals, methods, and accurate details.
"Since mid-January 2017, the machine of violence and terrorism has returned to reap souls, shed blood, and commit crimes via official tools in the face of a peaceful movement by the Bahraini majority, demanding democracy, human rights respect, justice, and dignity," the Al-Wefaq added in its statement.
The statement stressed that the Bahraini people will continue in their peaceful movement without caring for cowardly terrorist practices witnessed by the entire international community.
