Germany Releases Bahraini Asylum Seeker after 5 Days of Arrest

Bahrain Mirror: The German authorities released on Tuesday (March 21, 2017) a Bahraini citizen it had arrested for 5 days in Berlin, based on an international arrest warrant.
Bahrain had accused Fayyad al-Shweikh (27 years old) of joining a terrorist affiliation, before it asked the Interpol to arrest him.
The spokesperson of the Berlin-based prosecutor's office said Friday (March 17, 2017) that a police special force arrested an asylum-seeker based on an international arrest warrant.
German authorities do not suspect the perpetrator committed any crime.
The Bahraini Public Prosecution issued a statement yesterday, claiming that al-Shweikh is a member of a terrorist affiliation, among which 54 members are Bahrainis inside Bahrain and abroad.
