AFP Photographer Mohammed Al-Shaikh Transferred to CID

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Press Association said that the Bahraini authorities transferred the AFP photographer to the criminal investigation building after his arrest.
The Bahrain Airport authorities arrested Al-Shaikh upon returning from private vacation in India. Al-Shaikh made a phone call stating that he was transferred to the criminal investigation department without giving further details about the reasons behind his arrest and charges brought against him.
Al-Shaikh had been already arrested after 2011 pro-democracy incidents and sentenced to imprisonment, over covering the protests that erupted in the country in February and March coinciding with the Arab Spring.
