Sayed Alawi Conducts 8-min Phone Call with Family, Two and Half Months after last Call

Bahrain Mirror: The family of Bahraini detainee Sayed Alawi Sayed Hussein, said they received a short phone call from him at night on Tuesday (February 29, 2017), after more than 120 days since his arrest. Since he was arrested, none of his family members were allowed to meet him in person, and neither was his lawyer.
In a statement, Sayed Alawi's family clarified (Wednesday March 1, 2017) that the short phone call didn't not exceed 8 minutes, during which he spoke with his mother, his wife, and son, and asked for everyone to pray for him.
