Authorities Allow Al-Wasat Newspaper to Resume Online Edition

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities allowed the opposition-linked Al-Wasat newspaper to resume its online edition, 3 days after being suspended.
The newspaper said on its official website that it resumed its online edition without adding more details.
Bahrain's Ministry of Information decided on (January 16, 2017) to suspend the online version of the Al-Wasat newspaper and allowed it to continue publishing its printed edition.
The Committee to Protect Journalist (CPJ) condemned the decision, calling on the government of Bahrain to rescind the order. Meanwhile, Washington expressed its concern about this suspension.
