Bahrain Mirror: A crowd protest was staged in Diraz, condemning the sectarian persecution and noose tightening against Shia in Bahrain.
Dozens of worshipers in the Imam Al-Sadiq mosque in Diraz took part in the protest, condemning the prevention of Imam of the mosque and worshipers from entering the village to perform the Friday prayers since 15 weeks.
Protesters chanted anti-regime slogans, demanding to put an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power and release the political prisoners.
Diraz has been witnessing a siege since over 4 months, as a collective punishment for the open sit-in held outside Sheikh Isa Qassim's house, protesting against the decision that revoked his citizenship.
