Bahrain Mirror: The National Iraqi Alliance chief, Sayed Ammar Al-Hakim slammed the major countries and international organizations for their silence towards what is happening in both Yemen and Bahrain.

In a speech he delivered on the seventh night of Muharram (Saturday, October 8, 2016), Al-Hakim stated that "remaining silence on human rights violations in specific countries and speaking out loud against these violations in others is due to double standard."

Al-Hakim used Syria as an example, talking about the world and international organizations' stance towards the Syrian file while remaining silent when it comes to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and Bahraini crisis.

"Number has never and will never be a criteria to determine the right," he went on saying, stressing that "the right is known by evidence and arguments, the human being can know the truth even if others were unaware of it."
