Bahrain Mirror: Hundreds of Bahrainis took to the streets in protest across the country since the early hours of the Fitr Eid holiday (July 6, 2016), which marks the end of the holy Month of Ramadan.
Protestors chanted anti-regime slogans, calling for putting an end to the ruling Al Khaifa family's monopoly over power, also voicing solidarity with the kingdom's Shia spiritual leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, who was recently stripped of his citizenship.
Sit-ins were held in a number of villages and towns across the Gulf nation, including Sadad, Malkiya, Bilad al-Qadeem, Barbar and Tubli, which condemned the arbitrary continued imprisonment of human rights activists and opposition leader.
Meanwhile, rallies and demonstrations were staged in Sitra, al-Kharjia, Karzakan, Sehla, Jedhafs and other areas across the country.
