US Ambassador for International Religious Freedom Alarmed by Revocation of Sheikh Isa Qassim's Nationality

Bahrain Mirror: David Saperstein, the Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom, expressed his concern by the revocation of the most prominent Shiite cleric in Bahrain Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim's citizenship.
"We are alarmed by the government of Bahrain's decision to revoke the citizenship of Shia cleric Sheikh Isa Qassim," said Saperstein on his personal Twitter account.
The US Department of State stressed yesterday that it is alarmed by the decision to withdraw Sheikh Isa Qassim's nationality, deeming this measure arbitrary.
