Kassim Al-Saegh: Bahrain's Fifth Sickle Cell Casualty in 2016

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini youth Kassim Mostafa Ibrahim Al-Saegh (27 years old) from the village of Al-Dair was reported as the fifth victim of Sickle Cell Anaemia in Bahrain on Wednesday (February 3, 2016).
Al-Saegh passed away in the intensive care unit after his health condition deteriorated in the Inherited Blood Disorders center due to a delay in transferring him to the ICU because of a lack of beds. He was transferred to the ICU about three days later and his health condition did not improve at all. His death was announced on Wednesday.
On the same day, a woman, in her 60s, was recorded as the fourth victim of Sickle Cell Anaemia in the emergency department.
Last week, a man, in his 50s, was reported as the third victim of the disease.
