Al-Hurra News Names Bahraini Activist Zainab Al-Khawaja “Most Gulf Influential Woman”

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Al-Hurra News announced on its website that the Bahraini activist Zainab Al-Khawaja was given the title of the "most Gulf influential woman" of 2015 in a survey undertaken by the news website last week.
Al-Khawaja won over 44% of the total votes, garnering around 129,000 votes in a survey with 290,000 participants.
The Saudi national Kawthar Al-Arbash came in second place, with more than 63,000 votes, i.e. 22% of the total number of votes.
As for third place, it was won by the Bahraini journalist Nazeeha Saeed, followed by Sheikha Mozah, and the Royal Court Special Envoy, Sameera Rajab.
