Bahrain: Al-Wasat Paper's Parliament Correspondent Arrested

Bahrain Mirror: Activists on social media outlets said that Bahraini security forces raided the house of Al-Wasat newspaper correspondent to the Shura Council and the House of Representatives, journalist Mahmoud Radhi Al-Jaziri on early Monday morning (December 28, 2015) and took him to an unknown location.
Witnesses said that the house raid and arrest were carried out by masked civilians and a number of police patrol officers without presenting a search warrant. Al-Jaziri's mobile phone and personal laptop were confiscated.
It is noteworthy that Al-Jaziri, who works as a correspondent for Al-Wasat newspaper, which is close to the country's opposition, published a report on Sunday about the details of the appointed Shura Council session, specifically what the Shura Council member Fatima Al Kooheji, who supported the withdrawal of housing units from the families of the Bahrainis who were stripped of their nationality, which sparked a campaign against her on Twitter.
