Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said that Gulf States harbor no hatred towards Iran, stressing that he does not refuse to hold any serious dialogue that would lead to breakthrough in relations.
"We only want Iran to stop harming us, not only in Bahrain but in all Arab States. If Iran seeks to establish good relations, it should extend its hand to us instead of interfering in our internal affairs," he added.
"There is no dialogue amid cannons and rifles. If there is a war, then there is a more important duty and we have to defend ourselves, our peoples and brothers in the region. This role is being perfectly carried out under the leadership of King Salman Abdulaziz," Khalid Al Khalifa further stated. He also stressed that he does not refuse to hold any serious dialogue based on solid grounds and that would clearly lead a breakthrough in relations.
