Bahrain Mirror: First Attorney General Abdulrahman Al-Sayed said that Bahrain's Public Prosecution has completed its investigations in 20 violation cases lodged about the annals included in the 2012/2013 report prepared by the National Audit Office.

The prosecution ordered the referral of one of these cases to a relevant criminal court. The remaining 19 cases have been retained after ruling out criminal suspicion in them.

Al-Sayed said the Public Prosecution's decisions to retain these cases have been built on causations that included a lack of criminal basis as stipulated in the law or because the incident did not amount in fact to more than an administrative violation.

Al-Sayed also pointed out that the prosecution decided to inform the relevant executive bodies about the confirmed administrative irregularities; hence, the Public Prosecution sent copies of these cases to the relevant bodies to take action in accordance with the investigation outcomes that proved they were sheer administrative irregularities which do not constitute a crime.
