Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Human Rights Society (BHRS) said that the Bahraini authorities have arrested 43 citizens within the last week of June, after raiding 85 homes in a number of villages across the country.
The report listing the violations indicated that 107 peaceful protests were staged to stress on the demands for which the people revolted in February 14, adding that "more than 12 areas were subjected to collective punishment and the number of crackdowns reached more than 40."
The report also highlighted that government forces used tear gas and shotguns when quelling protests, which led to many injuries among protestors and cases of suffocation inside residential neighborhoods.
