Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini lawyer Abdullah Al-Shamlawi stated that Bahrain's Public Prosecution had questioned on Thursday (July 2, 2015) a prominent member of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society over charges of inciting hatred against the regime, which is an accusation usually brought against opposers of the royal family in Bahrain.
"The prosecution finished questing the MP Majeed Milad over charges of inciting hatred against the regime and disobedience of the law," posted Al-Shamlawi on his Twitter account, adding that "these charges are often raised against Al-Wefaq leaders."
"Majeed Milad is to be detained for 7 days pending investigation," Al-Shamlawi further stated.
Yesterday, the police interrogated the political assistant of Al-Wefaq Secretary-General, Khalil Al-Marzooq, after raising the same charges against him.
