PHOTOS: Thousands of Bahrainis Demand Sheikh Ali Salman’s Release and Denounce Al-Anoud Bombing

Bahrain Mirror: Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Bahrain (on Friday, May 29, 2015) to protest against the continued detention of Al-Wefaq Secretary-General, Sheikh Ali Salman, and denounce the bomb attack that targeted Imam Hussein Mosque in Al-Anoud, Dammam, Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province.
In Diraz, west of the Bahraini capital, Manama, protestors held banners that read slogans condemning sectarian incitement against Shiites while chanting slogans demanding the immediate release of Sheikh Ali Salman and stressing the people's demands.
Protestors also held photos of Sheikh Salman and banners that read some of his words, which stressed on adhering to the peaceful movement and working on reaching a democratic rule that will put an end to the tribal rule.
A number of villages in the island kingdom witnessed mass protests denouncing the bombings targeting the Shiite sect. They also blamed the Saudi regime for these attacks.
