Prisoners held in Jaw Central Prison confirmed that "what is being reported outside the prison about the conditions of the detained figures is much less than it is in reality." Detainees expressed fears that any of them could die in the coming days.

Sayed Abdullah Al-Ghuraifi denounced "the seizure of some endowments", warning of "a dangerous phenomenon of taking over some endowments because they are not registered, despite the fact that they have a long history with the people," stressing that this "will aggravate the crisis in this country."

The Bahrain Center for Human Rights confirmed that "freedom of opinion and expression is still restricted in Bahrain against those who practice journalistic work and producers of media content on the Internet since 2011 until the present day."

SALAM for Democracy and Human Rights called on the Bahraini government "to respect the principles of freedom of the press and to guarantee the freedom of journalists to perform their duties without fear of intimidation or persecution."
