Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh praised on Saturday (September 12, 2020) the free Bahraini voices opposing the normalization deal with the Israeli occupation, adding that he is confident that Palestine and its just cause remain in the hearts of all the Arab and Islamic peoples and all the free peoples of the world.

Crowds of Bahrainis staged protests on Saturday against the official normalization of ties between Bahrain and Israel and the exchange of embassies' openings.

Bahraini Democratic Youth Society condemned the US President Donald Trump's announcement that Bahrain has agreed to sign "peace" agreement with Israel.

The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society; largest opposition society in Bahrain, described the agreement between the Bahraini regime and Israel as a total betrayal of Islam and Arabism and an abandonment of the Islamic, Arab and national consensus.

Amnesty International said that no diplomatic agreement can change Israel's legal duties as an occupying force, in a reference to the normalization agreement between Manama and Tel Aviv.

February 14 Youth Coalition deplored Bahrain's normalization with Israel, stressing that this step doesn't reflect the stance of any Bahraini noble person.

Al-Wefaq Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Hussein Al-Daihi addressed the Palestinian people saying "We say to the dear Palestinian people that the sons of Bahrain can't be a tool in executing the normalization crime and its project.

Hezbollah condemned the Bahraini regime's recognition of the Zionist occupation entity and approval of normalization of ties with it, considering it a "great betrayal" of the Palestinian people.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatib Zadeh condemned Bahrain's decision to normalize relations with Israel, describing the move as disgraceful and a betrayal of the Palestinian people, considering that it makes the rulers of the Gulf kingdom "partners in the crimes of the Zionist regime."

"The Palestinian leadership strongly rejects and condemns the American-Bahraini-Israeli tripartite declaration on the normalization of relations between the occupying state of Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain," the Palestinian Authority said in a statement.

Commenting on the normalization agreement between the Bahraini regime and Israerl, managing Director of AJ+ Channels, Dima Khatib, said that "Bahraini people are totally innocent from the agreement of shame".

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad strongly denounced the Israel-Bahrain normalization deal, considering it a new episode in the series of betrayal to Palestine and a blatant coup against all Arab, national and Islamic constants of Palestine.

Saeb Erekat, secretary general of the PLO Executive Committee, announced recalling the Palestinian ambassador to Manama, based on President Mahmoud Abbas directives.

Israeli Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, said that he had "warm conversation" with his Bahraini counterpart, Jamal Fares Al-Rowaiei and that the two congratulated each other.

Member of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hanan Ashrawi, greeted on Friday (September 11, 2020) the Bahrainis who stood against normalization.

Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has stressed that the declaration of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel is a sovereign decision that represents a courageous stance reflecting King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's wisdom and forward-looking vision.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the decision by Bahrain to establish diplomatic ties with Israel.

Chief of the Strategic Security Agency, head of Royal Guard and King's son, Nasser bin Hamad, announced via his official Instagram account that he supports his father's decision in establishing ties with the Israeli entity and normalizing relations with it.
